Obituary For Lorelei Lee Budreau

Lorelei Budreau, age 34, grew up in Minneapolis, graduating from South HS in 2008. she was a proud member of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. She loved all animals, especially her cats, Toot, Butters, and Wendy. She enjoyed shooting guns at the range, going fishing, and taking walks with her fiance, Tommy. She enjoyed a variety of music, lots of movies, and a good party. Her favorite color was pink.

She was preceded in death by father, Ronald Budreau; sister, Dawn Gillespie; grandparents, Alex & Elizabeth Gillespie and William & Julia Budreau; and many aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her mother, Sharon Gillespie & Art Countryman; fiance, Tommy Bondi; siblings, Julie Olson, Tom Countryman, and John Countryman; aunt, Margaret Budreau; uncle, Alexander Gillespie; many nieces and nephews; close friend, EnDonnis St. Clair-Bruguier; a host of cousins and other loving relatives and friends.

A celebration of Lorelei’s life will take place on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, at MN Indian Women’s Resource Center, 2300 15th Ave. S., Minneapolis, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a program at 12 p.m. Please wear casual clothes and share your memories of Lorelei with us.
